Family-favourite, Zippos Circus, will make a welcome return to the Winter Wonderland Big Top, with a special 45 minute festive circus show. This enchanting performance will feature Timoni the Elf and Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer who will open up a magical toy box to reveal a thrilling line up of colourful circus stars. Children’s tickets have even been held at the 2009 rate of £4.50!
Key Stage 2 Teachers! New for 2010 is the Zippos Circus Workshops, specially designed for 8 to 11 year olds and run by the circus performers themselves. This fun and engaging workshop takes place in the heated Big Top, it will engage students in the history of the circus, by demonstrating amazing skills and circus make-up: hopefully the pupils will leave with some tricks of their own! At 7pm and 8.30pm every evening the Winter Wonderland Big Top will present ‘Cirque D’Hiver’ a brand new world-class circus. The finest artistes from across the globe merge into a single breathtaking performance spectacle set inside a sleeping mind. Contortionists, aerialists, acrobats, the heart-stopping Wheel of Death and a final battle of fire are all part of this stunning visual spectacle. Driven by its own powerful musical soundtrack, Cirque D’Hiver is a delight for the ears as well as the eyes.
